Want to see how Assist looks on a mobile device, either to present it on a big screen for your drivers or to try the user experience for yourself? You can easily simulate the mobile view directly in your browser.
Here is how:
Step 1: Open your browser - Launch Chrome, Edge or another Chromium-based browser on your PC, then open Assist in the browser on your PC.
Step 2: Open the developer tools – Press F12 on your keyboard to open "Dev Tools".
Step 3: Switch on the mobile view – Click the mobile icon at the top of the developer tools.
Step 4: Choose a device type – Click the drop-down menu and pick a device, for example iPhone Pro Max.
Step 5: Press F5 to reload the page in mobile view. (Some things will not display correctly until the page has been reloaded.)
When you are finished, press F12 again to return to the normal view.
Important:
This only works in Chrome, Edge and other Chromium-based browsers.
Some elements will not display correctly until the page has been reloaded.
