Drivers cannot see every job or create new jobs in Assist. This is deliberate.
The role Driver is built for work out in the field. The driver sees My jobs, in other words the jobs and services assigned to that particular driver.
In the driver view, the driver can among other things:
see the jobs assigned to them
accept or decline assigned services
navigate to the job site
add information along the way
complete services
work with orders where relevant
Who can see and create jobs?
It is the role Operator that is used to see the job overview, create new jobs, work in dispatch and assign jobs to drivers.
If a driver needs to do this as well, the user must be given the role Operator in addition to Driver.
If the user is to manage users, roles or station settings, the user needs the role Admin.
What should you do?
If the user only works as a driver: check that the user is selected as the driver on the right service.
If the user needs to see all jobs or create new jobs: give the user the role
Operatoras well.If the user needs to change roles or station settings: give the user the role
Admin.
How an admin changes the role
Go to
Station.Select
Users.Find the user you want to change.
Add the right role, for example
Operator.Ask the user to log out and back in again.
Still not right?
Contact support if the roles look correct but the user still cannot see the jobs they expect, or is missing features.
Please include:
the name of the user
which role the user has
which job the user expects to see, if it concerns a specific job
whether the user should be a driver, an operator or an admin
