It is your phone that controls how these notifications are delivered - whether they show, whether they make a sound and so on - not Assist. Here are a few tips.

Bottom left - choose the 3 dots - account settings
Choose which notifications you want to receive in the notification centre (we recommend leaving them all on!)

Here is how:
The first time you open Assist - choose Allow - when "Assist would like to send you notifications" appears
Notifications will then appear the way your phone is set up to show them.
To adjust notifications on your phone, do the following
iPhone
Set notifications up like this (recommended)
Find Assist - alphabetical view
Recommended settings for Assist:
- Allow Notifications -> On means Assist will send push notifications to your phone
- Alerts -> select all shows the Assist notification on the lock screen, in the notification centre and as a banner
- Banner Style -> Persistent (they then stay on screen until you open or dismiss them)
- Sounds and Badges -> On
- Announce lets the assistant on your phone read the notification out loud (this has to be switched on under: Announce Notifications.
- Show Previews set to Always
- Notification Grouping - automatic
REMEMBER:
If you use Focus Mode, you need to allow Assist to send you messages!
Android
Open the Google Chrome app.
Tap the 3 dots in the top right
Select Settings.
Tap Notifications to adjust the sound, vibration and banner settings for incoming messages.
Allow notifications must be on - sound and vibration are up to you
Choose set up in Chrome
Here you can filter which addresses you allow notifications from. Make sure go.getassist.app is allowed
