Before you start
You need to have the job open.
The job must be marked as Arrived at job site.
You should know whether the vehicle is Ready on site or needs Transport to somewhere else.
Find Work performed
Open the job.
Update the status to Arrived at job site when you get there.
Find the card Do the job.
Press Work performed.
If you cannot see Do the job, the job has probably not been marked as Arrived at job site yet.
Describe what was done
Go to the field Describe details of the job.
Write a short, clear description in the field Service comment.
Include whatever matters to the station, the customer or invoicing.
A good comment describes what was actually done. For example:
the car started after a jump start,
the vehicle was picked up and taken to the garage,
the key was in the agreed place,
or the customer did not turn up.
Choose whether the vehicle is ready on site or needs transporting
Under Ready on site or transported? you choose the right way of working.
Select Ready on site when the job has been resolved at the job site and the vehicle does not need transporting.
Select transport when the vehicle needs picking up and taking somewhere else. The route must then have the correct transport destination.
Check the position or the route
If the vehicle is Ready on site, you will see Is the position correct?. Check the map and the job site.
If the vehicle is to be transported, you will see Check the route. Check the job site, the stops, the transport destination and the route data.
You can add:
Transport to when the vehicle is being taken on somewhere else,
Stop if the route has several stops,
or update the location if the job site is wrong.
What happens next
Once the work performed has been recorded, move on to the right next status:
Press Completed if the job was resolved on site.
Press Picked up if the vehicle has been picked up and is being transported on.
Use Start navigation to drive to the transport destination.
You can also move on to Documentation, Payment, Service info or Storage if the job requires it.
If something is not working
If you cannot find Work performed, check that the job is set to Arrived at job site.
If Start navigation asks you to add a transport location, open Work performed and add Transport to.
If you selected Ready on site by mistake, change the choice before you move the status on.
If the route is not right, correct the stop or the transport destination before you take the job any further.
When are you done?
You are done when the comment explains what was done, the right choice has been set for ready on site or transport, and the route matches the job you are carrying out.
