How to add storage to a job, fill in storage location, key and rate, release the vehicle, and delete or undo a storage entry.

Before you start

  • The job must be marked as Arrived at job site.

  • You must know whether the vehicle is actually going into storage.

  • You should know which Storage location is to be used.

How to open Storage

  1. Open the job.

  2. Mark Arrived at job site when you get there.

  3. Go to Do the job.

  4. Tap Storage.

If no storage has been added yet, you see No storage added.

How to add storage as a driver

  1. Tap Add storage.

  2. Fill in Storage date.

  3. Select Storage location.

  4. Enter Storage comment if the station needs more information.

  5. Enter Key number if the key needs to be tracked.

  6. Set Remind about notification if someone needs to follow up later.

  7. Select Requires approval for release if the vehicle must not be released without approval.

  8. Fill in Rate per day (NOK) if a storage price is to be calculated.

Assist also shows the status of the storage, including Days, Accrued storage and Released.

How to add storage as an operator

  1. If you have the Operator role, you can also create a storage entry directly from
    ​Jobs and Services - Storage - New storage

  2. This creates a new job with Storage as the active service.

Use notes when needed

In Notes you can add information that should follow the storage, for example follow-up with the police, the owner or an insurance company.

Notes can matter later, so keep them short and precise.

How to release the vehicle

When the vehicle is to be released:

  1. Open Storage.

  2. Check that the storage information is correct.

  3. Tap Release vehicle.

  4. Confirm with Release.

The storage is then marked as Released.

Delete or undo storage

If the storage entry was created by mistake and is still empty, you can use Undo creation.

If the storage entry contains information and needs to be removed, you can use Delete storage Be sure before you delete, because information about the storage location, key and status is removed from the job.

If something is not working

  • If you cannot find Storage check that the job is marked as Arrived at job site.

  • If Release vehicle is not shown, the storage entry may be missing the required storage date, or the vehicle may already have been released.

  • If the correct storage location is missing, contact the station.

  • If you are unsure whether the vehicle requires approval before release, check before you release it.

When are you done?

You are done when the storage entry has the correct storage location, date, key information and status, or when the vehicle is marked as Released.
