Before you start
You need to be logged in to Assist as a driver.
You need access to My jobs.
The vehicle must be registered to the station.
How to select a vehicle
Open My jobs.
Tap the Vehicle field at the top of the page.
Select the vehicle you are using.
Check that the right vehicle is selected before you open or start a job.
If it says No vehicle, you do not currently have a vehicle selected.
If the vehicle is being used by another driver
If the vehicle is already in use by another driver, you will be told before you take it over.
Only take the vehicle over if you are actually using it. If you are unsure, check with the station before you continue.
How to put yourself on duty
Open My jobs.
Tap the status field at the top of the page.
Select On duty when you are available.
Select Off duty when you are not taking on new jobs.
When you are set to On duty, the station can see that you are available. When you are set to Off duty, you should not expect to be given new jobs.
What happens next
Once you have selected a vehicle and are set to On duty, newly assigned jobs can appear in My jobs.
If you already have active jobs, you can open them from the list. If a job is waiting for your response, you will see the options Accept and Decline.
If something is not working
If you cannot find the vehicle, check with the station that it is registered and active.
If you get a warning about a missing vehicle on a job, go back to My jobs and select a Vehicle.
If you are not getting new jobs, check that you are set to On duty.
If a job is not showing, it may have been assigned to another driver or not assigned yet.
When are you done?
You are done when the right vehicle is selected and your status shows On duty when you are available for jobs.
